The first interview for ConferenceCast is up on IABC’s website. Just like last year, Neville and I are producing the podcast and handling the interviews. The first is with Tom Sancton, the keynote speaker at the opening session of the 2007 conference, on Sunday, June 24. Sancton was Time Magazine’s bureau chief in Paris, and put in a total of 22 years with Time. He also wrote a book, “Song for My Fathers,” and is a professional jazz clarinet player. In the interview, he talks about how writing for Time and playing jazz have given him a unique perspective on communications—one he’ll share in his session, which will include live music.

I know Neville has a couple interviews in the can, so you’ll be able to hear more session speakers offer some insights into their topics on the podcast. And, just like last year, I’ll be podcasting from the conference as well. (Neville won’t make it to New Orleans, sadly.)
