Burson-PRWeek survey says CEOs value communication

PR heavyweight Burson-Marstellar and PRWeek released the results of a CEO survey today that shows “a continued increase among corporate leaders who believe public relations professionals play an important role within their organizations.” According to the study of more than 100 U.S. CEOs, conducted by Impulse Research, more than 90% of the respondents rated communication as “very important” or “important” for managing reputation, safeguarding the company’s image and crisis management.

I suppose that means we can all expect to see hefty increases in the PR budget. I’m holding my breath.
