Whatever I may have to say tomorrow, Sunday, January 6, will have to wait until Monday. I’m joining the “Day of Silence” to protest the arrest of Fouad al-Farhan, described by the Washington Post as Saudi Arabia’s most popular blogger. He was arrested December 10 on the vague pretext of “violating rules not related to state security.” His arrest was, however, directly related to his activities as a blogger.
