Nice publicity, Kevin!

Kevin Dugan’s blog, “Strategic Public Relations,” got a nice write-up in the Annenberg School’s Online Journalism Review. A sample excerpt:

(Dugan)...stressed quality over quantity, pointing out that “just because you can publish ten times a day, doesn???t mean you should.” With this mindset, Dugan balances work, his family and his site, so posts only occur about once a week. Dugan said Strategic Public Relations receives an average of nearly 1,000 hits a day - most of which he assumes are from his target audience, PR specialists.

Nice publicity, particularly from a journalism-focused publication. Kevin deserves it, too.

  • 1.Thanks Shel! The interview took place awhile ago (proof is that I do not mention the Bad Pitch blog).

  • 2.It just showed up in my RSS feed today, Kevin -- I'm a regular subscriber to OJR, so they must have added it to the feed for some reason. All-new exposure!

  • 3.It is quite right that quality should prevail over quantity. Unfortunately it is the marketing of blogs that has encouraged smaller blog posts and an increase in frequency.
