Nothing has been announced officially yet, but I know for a fact The Conference Board will launch its first podcasts as part of its upcoming “Corporate Communication and Technology Conference.” I know because I’ll be handling the podcasting.

Lee Hornick, the conference program director, called and asked about podcasting the conference. He sees it as a way to drum up more interest in Conference Board conferences and as a first foray into podcasting for the global business network. If it goes well, the organization could find other uses for podcasting.

The conference podcast will kick off with a panel discussion I’ll be recording on Wednesday. Hornick will interview three of the conference speakers, including me. At the conference, I’ll conduct interviews with speakers and participants, and with luck we’ll also be able to podcast one of the keynote addresses, possibly Dan Gillmor’s. Once I know where the podcast feed is located on The Conference Board’s site, I’ll let you know.
