Podcast for communicators
Starting in January, Neville Hobson and I—- both of us communicators who think we have something to say that you might find worth listening to—start our weekly podcast, “For Immediate Release: The Hobson and Holtz Report.” I’m in Concord, California, and Neville’s in Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
We’ll bring a balanced view on what’s going on in the US and Europe in communication, technology and other relevant topics.
We’ll be having weekly conversations via Skype and posting the resulting MP3 recording on a special blog we’ve created just for the podcast at For Immediate Release. You will be able to get the podcasts from our RSS feed or download them directly from there. Either way, it will be simple for you to get them. We’ll also post show notes for the podcast on the site as well as on both our personal blogs.
What will we talk about in our weekly podcasts? What will be the format for our conversations?
Well, why not listen to our pre-launch podcast we recorded today—that will give you a good idea of what to expect when we fully launch next month. Just copy the URL of our podcast feed to your iPodder. The feed URL is: www.forimmediaterelease.biz/rss.xml. You only have to do this once—you’ll get the weekly show automatically after that.
We hope you’ll find our conversations interesting and useful. We’d like to know what you think. Let us know if you have a specific topic you’d like us to discuss.
So look out for the first podcast in early January.
Meanwhile, our best wishes for a peaceful Christmas (or, if you’re like Shel, we hope you had a happy Chanukah) and a rockin’ New Year!
