I was managing a software development effort with people working on it in three continents and numerous states. The "idiot" was shocked that I was "wasting" time on the Internet. I love being a consultant! I offered to resign on the spot, however unfortunately that would cause the project to slip and create all kinds of other problems. I could have explained it to most people nicely, but not this guy! I think it can be explained to most people today, but should we really need to explain it to people today? Unfortunately we do.
