A list of business podcasts

For what it’s worth, I’ve started a list of podcasts produced by businesses over at Constantin Basturea’s “The New PR.”

Since you and Neville are both business owners of your own business, why haven't you got FIR on the list?

  • 2.Interesting question, Lee. Mainly because our businesses don't sponsor the podcast the way General Motors' does. While FIR and our businesses focus on the same thing -- communications -- we see it as something we do in addition to our work, not as a part of it. Neither of us promote our businesses in the podcast. And we don't do any work together outside the podcast. The list is designed to showcase companies that have set up podcasts as an integral part of their marketing/communication process.

So...will we have a report from you this week??

  • 3.But I beg to differ, me ol' china...

Your podcast is a superb marketing tactic for both of you; it positions you as thought and expertise leaders in both the business market (for clients to get a 'feel' of what you know) and amongst your peers (for referral work from other communicators).

I'd place your podcast in there...

And yes, there's a report this week -- just uploading it now to the server. I just sent 'comments at' an email a tad prematurely; give it a few minutes and the requisite files will be there.

    Cheers,
    Lee

  • 4.p.s. forgot to add the link url for the report I mention in my report (is that a circular tautology? Can tautology be circular?)
