The study digs deep into podcast consumption and identifies opportunities for podcasters (and potential podcasters) based on those results. Tom first presented the study results at the 2010 BlogWorld and New Media Expo in Las Vegas in October 2010.

  • 1.Shel, thanks for having Tom do this FIR interview. I wasn't able to make it to BlogWorld and this certainly opened my eyes and ears to some things in the world of podcasting I wasn't aware of, or paying much attention to. That is, the amount of podcast listening/watching that's being done directly on the Web desktop versus by people on the go. Also, that podcasters need to think beyond just posting their content to iTunes and thinking they're done in terms of promotion and that people will somehow find them easily. An informative interview, thanks again for posting it and keep up the great work with your podcasts.
