Blogs and journalism
Mainstream media provides the fodder for many blogs as bloggers comment on and link to stories on newspaper and other news sites. Sensing a link between what they cover and how bloggers react to it has provided weekly news magazine Newsweek with a new feature, a page on its website listing the stories from the past seven days that generated the most conversation in the blogosphere. The results come (no surprise here) from Technorati. The current top stories deal with US presidential adviser Karl Rove, pornographic podcasts, the US Supreme Court nominee and Iraq, among other topics.
